Jump Trading's Profit in Europe
Due to the nature of its business, high-frequency trading (HFT) is one of the most secretive industries. Ther is little public information about the revenue of HFT firms, except the public HFT companies, e.g., Knight Capital Group and Virtu Financials.
As one of the biggest HFT firms, Jump Trading is also the most secretive high-frequency trader. In 2014 June, there is a Bloomberg report on Jump Trading. Due to this public report, Jump Trading removed almost all the information from their website.
However, we still can find some public information about Jump Trading's performance in Europe, from their UK-based company annual report. Below is Jump Trading's revenue and profit from 2009 to 2015 in Europe. Apparently, 2015 has been a good year for them, and their business continues to grow.
